1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the BookTheVybe website and platform. By accessing or using BookTheVybe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

References to "we", "us" or "BookTheVybe" mean the operator of the platform. References to "you" mean the person using the website, whether as a customer, DJ applicant or visitor.

2. About BookTheVybe

BookTheVybe is a curated DJ marketplace that helps customers find trusted DJs for celebrations and events. We do not employ DJs directly. We introduce customers to DJs and help facilitate the early stages of a booking conversation.

3. Using Our Website

You agree to use BookTheVybe lawfully and in good faith. This means you will not:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
• Use the platform to harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone
• Attempt to damage, disable or interfere with the website
• Copy, scrape or reuse our content without permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

4. Customer Enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through BookTheVybe, you are asking us to help match you with a suitable DJ. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee:

• DJ availability on your requested date
• Booking confirmation
• Acceptance by any particular DJ

BookTheVybe reviews enquiries before introducing DJs. We may contact you to confirm details or clarify your requirements.

5. DJ Profiles

DJ profile information is supplied by DJs or created in discussion with them. BookTheVybe reviews listings before publication, but we cannot guarantee that every detail remains current at all times.

If you notice information that appears inaccurate or out of date, please let us know and we will pass your feedback to the relevant DJ.

6. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are tailored individually for each enquiry. No public prices are displayed on DJ profiles or elsewhere on the website.

Final prices depend on factors such as:

• Location and travel distance
• Event duration
• Equipment required
• Travel and accommodation where applicable
• Specific event requirements

Any price discussed before a booking is confirmed is an estimate, not a final contract price.

7. Booking Process

BookTheVybe introduces suitable DJs based on the information you provide. A booking is only confirmed once both the customer and the DJ have agreed terms, including date, time, fee and any specific arrangements.

BookTheVybe is not a party to the final agreement between customer and DJ, unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.

8. Payments

Payment arrangements will be explained during the booking process. Depending on the booking, this may include deposits, balance payments and any applicable BookTheVybe booking fees.

Always confirm payment terms directly with BookTheVybe or the relevant DJ before assuming a booking is secured.

9. Cancellations

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the DJ and the booking. Any cancellation or postponement policy will be communicated before a booking is confirmed.

If you need to cancel or change an event, contact us as soon as possible so we can advise you of the options available.

10. Customer Responsibilities

By using BookTheVybe, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in enquiries
• Notify us promptly of any changes to event details
• Treat DJs and BookTheVybe representatives respectfully and professionally
• Ensure the venue allows the agreed DJ services and access
• Honour payment terms once a booking is confirmed

11. DJ Responsibilities

DJs listed or applying to join BookTheVybe agree to:

• Maintain accurate profile information
• Communicate professionally and promptly
• Honour confirmed bookings where reasonably possible
• Notify BookTheVybe and the customer of any issues that may affect a confirmed booking
• Comply with applicable laws, licences and insurance requirements for their services

12. Intellectual Property

BookTheVybe branding, logos, images, text, design and other content remain the property of BookTheVybe or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or exploit our content without our prior written permission.

DJ-supplied content such as photographs, bios and music links remains the property of the relevant DJ, but by submitting it to BookTheVybe the DJ grants us permission to display it on the platform as part of their profile.

13. Website Availability

We aim to keep the BookTheVybe website available and functioning smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, technical issues and factors outside our control may occasionally affect availability.

14. Limitation of Liability

BookTheVybe acts as a curated introduction platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• The quality, conduct or performance of any DJ
• Losses arising from a booking dispute between a customer and a DJ
• Indirect, consequential or economic losses
• Events caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

BookTheVybe may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
